T and I recently had the privilege of staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in Roseville, MN for a long weekend! I say privilege because this facility is top-notch and it was our honor to stay here! We’ve started to travel and stay in hotels more recently since we sold our camper. We have stayed at a variety of facilities and this was, by far, our best yet!
Checking In
We began our stay by checking in and were pleasantly greeted by the front desk staff that got us into our room in a short amount of time! The front desk staff is not only friendly, but very efficient and gave us all the information we needed for our stay! We also observed their gorgeous lobby and bar area!
Our Room
The first thing I noticed when we entered our room was how clean it was. It not only WAS clean, looked clean, it smelled clean too! The staff had also left the temperature of the room at a very comfortable level, which was very appreciated! The room was also very bright and well-lit with natural light! I love that!
The room was comfortable and very spacious. We were in town for three nights and very much appreciated the space to spread out! This is also something that this stepmom of two teenage boys looks for and the Courtyard delivers in a big way! The bathroom sink is separated from the toilet and shower. This is great so I can continue to get ready while T is showering. While I would have liked to have a larger sink and vanity area, the finishes were beautiful. They also supplied a hair dryer and make-up mirror which is super helpful to us women! (No need to take up space in my suitcase with a hair dryer!)
Final Thoughts
The entire facility is top-notch and I never ran into an employee that didn’t greet us with warmth and enthusiasm!
They have a well-stocked pantry in which you can purchase items if you’re hungry or if you forgot any bathroom essentials! And, did I mention they have a Starbucks?! I may have visited that counter a few times! 😉
They are located near the interstate, which is a great feature with easy access to things to do, but it wasn’t noisy at all!
Each day when we returned from our adventures, the room had been cleaned impeccably and put “back together”. The final day of our stay, we were even greeted by a towel sculpted whale! How fun is that?!
Overall, we definitely recommend the Courtyard by Marriott in Roseville and hope you consider it for your next stay in the Twin Cities!
