Garden Update, 6/14/16

Can you believe it’s already been two weeks since you got a tour of my flower gardens?!  Where does the time go??  I know mine has been full of baseball games, camping, and trying to get things done here at home!  I hope your enjoying summer as much as we are!  Now…let’s get to the important stuff, let’s see how things are growing!!

The Dragon-Leaf Begonias are slowing growing and filling in the boxes!  I still think I need to get a few fillers, but haven’t found just the right thing yet, so I’ll keep waiting!

The raised flower gardens are slowing filling in too!

The North bed has grown a ton in the three weeks since my mom and I got everything cleaned up and organized.  It’s looking so good!  The new plants are slowly taking off, but the existing phlox are growing like crazy!  I can’t wait till something other than the Iris’s start blooming!

The corner bed or the rose and lily garden…oh my, this has been my obsession lately!  My three rose bushes have been blooming great guns and are almost done (you’ve seen this if you follow me on Instagram or my Facebook page) and the lilies are just loaded with blooms!!  I really can’t wait till they start blooming…they are my favorite!

The daisies in the wild bed have been blooming like crazy too, plus a few random other wild flowers!

Our vegetable garden is looking phenomenal, which I owe all to T!  We’ve eaten radishes and the green beans have a few blooms on them!  We finally got cages around the tomatoes and the rest is all looking fantastic!

They all need to be weeded, but it seems that as soon as I have time to do that, it rains!  Oh well, it’ll get done eventually! Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you enjoyed the tour!  Stop back in two weeks to see the changes!

    1. Thank you!! I have a love hate relationship with the wild bed. I love all the blooms but hate that it’s a lot harder to keep the grass out, etc.
